The goal of the event was to inspire a new generation of recruits by showing the versatility, teamwork, and impact of the Dutch Defence forces, not only through words but through experience.
We were asked to translate this vision into a music & sound experience that would carry the emotion and intensity of the armed forces while seamlessly supporting the visual and live elements of the show. We put great care into translating the identity of each Defence division into sound, while ensuring that everything remained cohesive as one powerful and unified experience.

For the event we composed a music track that acted as the backbone of the entire production. The track was used across multiple moments, from video content displayed on the main screens to short bumpers and transitions during the live program.
It combined cinematic energy with modern production elements, reflecting both the human and technological sides of Defence. The music guided the pacing of the show, helped build anticipation, and created a consistent sonic identity throughout the event.
In addition to the music, we designed a fully immersive surround audio experience that took the audience on an auditory journey through the different divisions of Defence. During this segment, visitors were blindfolded, allowing them to focus entirely on sound. Helicopters, radio chatter, marching troops, and distant explosions surrounded the audience, creating a realistic and emotional atmosphere that made them feel part of a mission.
Seeing all this come to live in the truly remarkable venue of De Doelen has really made an impact on us all and we could not be happier with the final result. Big thanks to everyone evolved and especially Obsession for trusting us with fulfilling this project.
